Where Your Journey Begins
Are you carrying something that needs space, clarity, or care?
Whether you’re facing a current challenge, holding onto emotional burdens, or simply longing for more clarity and connection, you are welcome — just as you are.
In individual counselling, I offer you a safe and respectful space where everything that matters to you can be explored — without pressure and without judgment.
Living as an expat or between cultures often brings unique emotional complexities — questions of identity, belonging, and adaptation. These experiences are fully welcome here and can be explored with care, curiosity, and understanding.
Together, we’ll gently explore what’s beneath the surface — at a pace that feels right for you. With empathy, clarity, and respect, I’ll support you in discovering new perspectives, breaking old patterns, and creating meaningful ways forward.
Whether you’re seeking to resolve inner conflict, navigate life transitions, improve communication, or reconnect with yourself, I’m here to support your unique process.
Sessions are available in person in Düsseldorf or online — in English or German, whichever language feels most supportive for you.
If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to take that first step.
Let’s start a conversation about what matters most to you — with openness, presence, and care.
Your Next Step
Change often begins quietly, with a conversation.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a first conversation. Your next step can begin here:
A Glimpse into My Way of Counselling
My approach to counselling weaves together the compassionate, Client-Centred approach according to Carl Rogers, the integrative depth of Roberto Assagioli’s Psychosynthesis , and the insightful perspective of Systemic Constellation work, creating a supportive and holistic space for personal growth.
Psychosynthesis offers a range of creative methods designed to help you discover and nurture your inner strengths. It aims to bring together the various aspects of your personality, guiding you toward a more powerful, authentic, and energized version of yourself. Through client- centered counselling, based on the principles of Carl Rogers, I have also come to understand the healing power of a compassionate attitude, deep empathy, and true authenticity. This approach, especially when combined with Systemic Constellation work, helps uncover unconscious patterns and dynamics within romantic relationships and family systems, bringing them into the light and creating space for new understanding, healing, and deeper connection.
Rediscover clarity and a renewed
sense of energy in your life.
Together, we will focus on
lighting your path rather than
staying in the shadows.
What you might bring – and how I can support you
As an expat or international living abroad, you may find yourself navigating challenges that others around you don’t fully understand. In my one-to-one counselling sessions, I provide a safe and attentive space where your questions and concerns can be explored with openness, clarity, and care. Together, we focus on the issues that are most important to you.
Many of the people I work with are living between cultures, adjusting to a new country, or experiencing the unique pressures of life abroad. Our work can focus on both your inner world and the outer context that shapes your experience.
Common areas of focus include:
Life Abroad & the Expat Experience: Living in a new country can be both exciting and disorienting. Together, we explore challenges such as cultural adjustment, homesickness, identity shifts, loneliness, or the search for belonging. I support you in navigating these with clarity and self-compassion, helping you feel more grounded and connected in your life abroad.
- Personal Growth: We work together on themes such as self-reflection, self-worth, and inner development—always in line with your own unique path.
- Stress Management & Burnout Prevention: II support you in developing healthier ways to cope with pressure, discovering new sources of strength, and building strategies that help you navigate everyday life with more ease.
- Life Transitions & Crises: In challenging phases—such as grief, loss, or career change—I offer grounding support, space for clarity, and a listening presence.
- Decision-Making: If you’re facing a significant decision, I help you connect with your inner clarity and explore the options that feel most aligned.
- Communication & Relationships: Together, we look at recurring patterns in how you relate to others and develop new ways of expressing yourself—more clearly, authentically, and effectively.
What is the difference between counselling and psychotherapy?
Unlike psychotherapy, psychological counselling is not a form of medical or clinical treatment. It is designed for individuals navigating life’s many challenges who are seeking support, clarity, and a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
